Psychic Development 101
The Nature of This Course
Psychic development is a study of the advanced use of our spirit perceptics, our Spirit’s abilities. Furthermore, it is an introduction to soul consciousness and our awareness of soul function in us—how to awaken ourselves to it so that, as Alice Bailey tells us, “We are soul-led.” Through our exercises and experiences, we will investigate and determine by group conscience—what are the properties and capabilities of a soul—when, where, and how it functions.
In order to create a stable, thus reliable base for these scientific explorations, we will incorporate exercises from the ancient monasteries of the Sarmoung Brotherhood to build in us true will and the right use of it, including the actual doing of sacred gymnastics and dances. The principles of “intentional suffering” and “world maintenance” will be understood and followed, along with specific forms of meditation, yoga, tai chi, and chi gong.
This study is designed in such a way that it is equally beneficial to the beginning student, the intermediate, and the advanced. The use of Tarot, Runes, Medicine Cards, dowsing rods, the pendulum, totem spirits, guides, astral templates, angels, kachinas, and much more are included, although no prior knowledge of these arts is required.
